Security and privacy

EboBar doesn't monitor your secrets.

It simply scans for the names of files and directories and stores them in memory and on your disk.

Other users will not be able to see your file and directory listings (Windows NT/2000/XP)

You might be concerned about other users being able to view your list of favorite web sites and possibly spotting all those XXX sites. The directory listing is stored in your private area which only you can access (in "Application Data"). So your secrets are safe with EboBar. (Hey, one day I should write a version which blackmails you to pay the shareware fee if you don't want it to send copies of your favorite web site list to all other users on the system! Just kidding. But it IS a nice idea, though.)
